各地に伏見城を移築したと言われる建物が残っています。徳川家康は、伏見城で討ち死にした鳥居元忠を讃えるため、江戸城に伏見城の畳を置いています。
There are still buildings that are said to have relocated Fushimi Castle in many places. Tokugawa Ieyasu puts tatami mats of Fushimi Castle in Edo Castle to praise Mototada Torii, who was killed in Fushimi Castle.
徳川家康は会津に戦いに行く際、鳥居元忠に伏見城を任せました。その時、3000人の兵しか残して行けず鳥居元忠に苦労をかけることを詫びました。すると鳥居元忠は、自分は命をかけて伏見城で戦うと伝え、家康には一人でも多くの兵を連れて行くように言いました。そして鳥居元忠は、家康のために戦い討ち死にしました。
When Tokugawa Ieyasu went to Aizu to fight, he left Fushimi Castle to Mototada Torii. At that time, Ieyasu apologized to Mototada Torii for leaving only 3,000 soldiers behind. Then Mototada Torii told him that he would fight in Fushimi Castle,even if he risk his life , and told Ieyasu to take as many soldiers as possible with Ieyasu. And Mototada Torii fought for Ieyasu in Fushimi Castle, and died in battle.
家康は鳥居元忠の忠義を讃え、鳥居元忠が討ち死にした伏見城の一部を江戸城に移しました。さらに伏見城の一部は、鳥居元忠たちを讃え弔うため、様々な寺や城に移築されました。今でも多くの場所に、伏見城を移築したとされる建物が残っています。
Ieyasu praised the loyalty of Mototada Torii and moved a part of Fushimi Castle where Mototada Torii was killed in the battle, to Edo Castle. In addition, part of Fushimi Castle was relocated to various temples and castles to praise and mourn Mototada Torii. Even now, there are still buildings that are said to have been relocated from Fushimi Castle in many places.
