金唐紙の壁は、日本でも珍しいそうです。明治期に発達した日本の伝統工芸品ですが、現在継承が難しくなっている技術の一つだそうです。

The walls made of Kin-Karakami are rare even in Japan. It is a traditional Japanese craft that developed during the Meiji era, but it is one of the techniques that is now difficult to pass down.
