福山城は日本城郭の最高傑作とも言われます。2022年に築城400年を迎えました。
Fukuyama castle is said to be the best masterpiece of Japanese castles. They celebrated the 400th anniversary of the construction of the castle in 2022.
400年前は今より多くの建物が並んでいたそうです。

城の北側は黒くて頑強そうです。これは、敵の攻撃を防ぐため鉄板を張ったからだそうです。全国でも福山城だけです。

天守閣の前は今は公園になっていますが、昔はたくさんの御殿があったそうです。

さらに、伏見櫓。伏見城を移築したとされる建物は全国にたくさんありますが、そのことが証明できるのはこの建物だけだそうです。

鐘櫓 Kane Yagura
江戸時代に建てられました。 It was built in the Edo period.
御湯殿。残念ながら戦争で焼けたので、再建されたものです。

月見櫓。月を見るための櫓。なんて風流なのでしょう。
