The path along the Yamanobe is dotted with Jizo statues everywhere.
中には個性的なお地蔵さんもいます。地面の中から出てきたお地蔵さんを、ある人がお寺に移そうとした途端、その人の足腰が痛くなりましたが、見晴らしの良いこの場所にお地蔵さんをお祀りすると、痛みはすっかり消えました。腰から下の病気にはこのお地蔵さんが治してくれるということです。
Among them, there are some uniquely distinctive Jizo statues. One such statue was partially buried in the ground, and when someone tried to move it to a temple, the person suddenly felt pain in their legs and lower back. However, when the statue was placed at this spot with a good view, the pain completely disappeared. It is said that this Jizo statue has the power to heal ailments of the lower body.
