寺と坂の町 尾道駅から千光寺まで歩いて30分ほど坂を上がります
It takes about 30 minutes on foot to Senkoji temple,千光寺 from Onomichi station.
途中に三重の塔があったり、カフェがあったり、猫に出会ったりします。
On the way,there is a three-storied pagoda.There are some cafes.Sometimes cats walk.
千光寺の由来となったとも言われる、玉の岩。
The glowing rock.It is said the origin of the name”Senkoji temple”.It means thousand lights.
昔、ここに光る石がありましたが、尾道の人たちがだまされてなくなってしまったと言われています。
It is said that there used to be a shining stone here in the past, but it disappeared after people in Onomichi were deceived.
鐘は、今も使われています。年末にテレビにも出ますね。
The bell is still in use today. It also appears on TV at the end of the year.
巨岩で有名ですね。
Senkoji temple is famous for the fuge rocks.
鎖で岩を登れます。
You can climb the rock with chains.
