幽霊が出ると言われる六道の辻
“The Crossroads of the Rokudo,Six Realms,六道の辻” said to be haunted by ghosts.
六道の辻の珍皇寺 Tinnoji temple in the Crossroads of Rokudo.
奥に見える「冥土通いの井戸」を通ると、あの世に行けると言われています。
Passing through the “Well of the Departed Souls” seen in the back is said to lead to the afterlife.
その奥は写真撮影禁止ですが、「黄泉がえりの井戸」があり、あの世から死者が返ってくると言われています。
Photography is prohibited beyond that point, but there is a “Well of Afterlife Return,” where it is said that the deceased come back from the afterlife.
どちらの井戸もとても深く、底は見えません。周りには独特の雰囲気が漂っています。
Both wells are incredibly deep, and the bottom is not visible. There is a unique atmosphere lingering around them.
お盆の時期にはここを通って死者が返ってくるそうです。幽霊がいるかは分かりませんが、この辺りから先は昔の墓場であり、生者が死者と泣く泣く別れたところでもあり、生者たちの「もう一度あの人に会いたい」という思いを叶えてくれる場所だったのかもしれません。
During the Obon period, it is said that the deceased return through here. Whether there are ghosts or not is unclear, but beyond this point lies an ancient graveyard, a place where the living tearfully bid farewell to the departed. Perhaps it is a place where the living’s desire to “meet that person once more” is granted.
